Swinson and Williams Join Benchmark Community Bank
November 3, 2017 - Benchmark Community Bank is pleased to announce that Craig Swinson and Kyle Williams have joined the organization as Vice Presidents/Business Bankers. They will be primarily assisting area businesses with the development of funding solutions to meet their unique needs, as well as introducing customers to Benchmark’s broad-based menu of lending opportunities.
"These two professionals bring with them close to fifty years of combined banking experience," said Senior Vice President/North Carolina Market Executive Rick Houser. "They are both well-versed in the banking industry and connected to the areas they will be serving on behalf of Benchmark. They are great assets for our North Carolina team."
A Raleigh resident, Swinson has been in banking since the 1980s. He comes to Benchmark with accomplishments in the areas of loan production, leadership, and coaching. He is a Business Administration graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, as well as the Advanced & Mid-Management Program of the University of North Carolina Banking School at Chapel Hill. He served as Vice-Chair of Delta Dental of North Carolina from 1999-2011 and is a member of the New Member Development Team for The Exchange Club of North Raleigh, a role he has filled since 2013. Additionally, he is active in the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club, and is a member of Providence Baptist Church, also in Raleigh.
"Coming to Benchmark is a wonderful opportunity for me," Swinson said. "I really enjoy sharing with my customers how Benchmark’s unique banking philosophy means we go the extra mile to help them find solutions to fit their needs."
A Zebulon resident, Williams is a veteran full-service banker with multiple recognitions for loan portfolio growth and customer service. He received his Associate in Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Southside Virginia Community College. He is the current Vice President of East Wake Education Foundation and a former member of the Wendell Economic Development Committee.
"Being a part of introducing Benchmark to our area is exciting," Williams said. "Their approach to lending is innovative. My small business customers ready to expand their services and facilities have been really receptive to the Benchmark for Life concept."
"Craig and Kyle are outstanding additions to our Wake Forest team," said Benchmark President/CEO Jay Stafford in making the announcement. "Their professionalism and dedication truly underscore Benchmark’s commitment to being part of the communities we serve through personal and institutional involvement, as well as our pledge to invest in the places we call ‘home’."
