Several frequently asked questions are presented below and should help you get up to speed on using ScoreCard, one of our debit cards rewards programs. Scroll through the questions below to get the information you need.

Q: What will I need to register?
A: You will need to have your debit card readily available. Visit and select Create Account. The form will ask you for your name, mailing address, zip code, and e-mail address. During registration, you will create a username and password. Then, you will choose three security questions and provide answers for each.

Q: How do I log in to the ScoreCard Rewards website?
A: Once you create your account, you will log in with your username and password at You can browse the rewards site by clicking on the “Browse Catalog” link from the login page.

Q: If I use ScoreCard Rewards for my credit card, do I need to create a separate login for my debit card?
A: Yes, if you already have a username and password for your credit card, you will have to create another username and password for your debit card. Those points cannot be aggregated.

Q: How do I know how many points I have?
A: You may call award headquarters at (800) 854-0790 to verify your points or you can visit

Q: How do I earn points?
A: Every time you use your debit card in a “credit” or a signature-based transaction, you will earn points. For every $5 spent, you will earn one (1) point. You will not earn points for any PIN-based transactions.

Q: When can I redeem points?
A: You can redeem points as soon as you have enough for a particular reward. Or you can accumulate points until you have enough to redeem for a higher level reward.

Q: How do I order rewards?
A: Merchandise can be ordered using the online shopping feature at or you may print an order form from the website and mail to the address printed on the form. Order processing may be delayed or declined if the order form is not completed with all required information. Please visit for information about hotel, car rental or travel rewards.

Q: How long after I place my order should I expect to receive the item(s)?
A: Generally, merchandise rewards will be shipped via a parcel delivery service or by the U.S. Postal Service and should arrive no more than 4-6 weeks after your order is received. Some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer and items may/may not be shipped together. Shipments cannot be made to a PO Box, APO address, or outside the United States.

Q: If I don’t have enough points for the award I want, can I buy the extra Points I need?
A: No. A sufficient number of points must be available in your account to redeem the award you want. Points are not available for purchase.

Q: Is ScoreCard free?
A: Yes, this program is free! There is no cost associated with ScoreCard, making it easy for Cardholders to earn points. This rewards program is just another benefit of using your Benchmark Visa Debit Card.
